Yeah, I know I should invest in a clear bra

Here is a video of a couple laps. Unfortunately I left the gopro on during lunch and couldn't record my later sessions when I really got comfortable on the track.

It's actually the wire to the external mic. You can see where I taped it under the BMW logo on the rear.

Green tape makes the pics kinda "artsy"--nice. And, Supersprint just went to the top of my list.

What mic are you using? The location is excellent.

I wonder if it can pick up a stock exhaust as well as it does for your car.

Clipping it to the license plate would work well for the stock exhaust I'd imagine. I've tried it there, but found that adding a little more distance got rid of a lot of distortion from my particular setup. For those wondering, I'm running JVT headers, Supersprint race mufflers, and OEM section I & II.

Awesome pictures and video, great sound quality. I think you captured the sound of supersprint really well. Coupe looks like a million bucks.

Did you drill your case or get a skeleton one. I kinda don't want to pay $39 for another case.

Kinda sucks you have to worry about sound

. Did they get mad at you coasting through sound?

Ditto! Those SS Race just sung in your video

It made me wishing that I should have held onto my SS Race

However, in real life, those SS were much louder inside the cabin of the coupe than what the video had captured...and I couldn't live with it on a daily basis

I drilled mine since I have no foreseeable plans to use it under water.

Lifting/upshifting is pretty much the norm at Laguna, so I think the workers are used to it. But based on other videos I think I probably played it a little too safe.

I also got to hear Mfanatic325's car "sing" that day. He has my setup plus the SS x-pipe

I do agree that they are loud under normal driving, but hey it's a sports car after all.
