They are easy to install. You have to cut the OEM pipes behind the rear silencer. And then cut off some plastic around the tips as there is a new cover coming with the set. You also have to paint these covers. I will say all in all 2 hours work exc. paining |

Do you have self leveling suspension? Does the kit have 2 springs or 4? The drop if perfect, great job. Last edited by JST2SXY; 05-05-2010 at 01:33 PM.. |

My view to this is that the X6 is so good looking original that only small modifications is needed to make it 100%. If you take it to far with plastic mods it just look silly. But again , thats me. |

JiPetterson,
May I ask what size your wheels are in front and back? May I also ask what tires(company) and specific size you are running? I'm trying to look into purchasing some 22's but not sure what size wheel and tires to run. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

The wheel brand is AEZ phenix 10x22 front and rear. ET 39 with 25 mm spacer rear for correct axel with. Spacers are special made for X6 due to different hub diameter front and rear axle. They have to fill the wheel with metal if not you will most likely have vibrations ,if not you are lucky. So plastic hub centric rings is not preferred and will most likely not work. I only have these 25mm spacers at rear axle with these wheels. Spacers and bought here: http://www.spurverbreiterung.de/index.php?lan=de&ecu= Wheels here: http://www.aez-wheels.com/ I´m running Toyo Proxes ST 285/30 and 315/25 tires. Remember to stay into spec as the circumference front and rear tire shall not differ many % on the xdrive and you will have trouble with your DSC lamp coming on all the time. This will also ruin your gearbox. This setup works for me and remember , our roads in Norway sucks so it should work for most of us. Good luck Last edited by jipettersen; 05-24-2010 at 04:03 PM..
