My OEM+ M240i Mineral White on Cognac
Previous BMWs include E36, E38, and E90. When I learned about the M240i and how few were available for sale let alone with the configuration I was interested in, I decided to submit a custom order in October of 2020 and picked up in December.

Winter wheels went on immediately, then came window tint. ![]() First interior mod. ![]() ![]() I had originally tried ordering the car with the all black wheels but they weren't available at the time. The dealer was kind enough to powder coat them and they went on in the spring. ![]() ![]() Most recently added the foundations for future performance mods. ![]() ![]() ![]() Looking forward to posting future updates here. I think the splitter will definitely happen as soon as potential winter use ends. Every time I see one whether online or in person it grabs my attention.
Got around to installing the P3 Gauge which was very straight forward. While not necessary, it's nice having more information to glance at. In particular Im enjoying the oil temperature and boost pressure. ![]() If I had any complaints it would be that the white has a blue tint to it and isn't a 100% match to OEM. If it could dim a little more for the night driving that would be great too. Holding off on the Rogue SSK install until they can confirm they sent the right parts. In terms of future mods I had originally thrown 17x9 + 255s as a future wheel setup in my original post. During the Apex Black Friday sale I even placed an order for them in brushed silver. While they are backordered I had time to think and decided I don't want to risk them potentially not working without further modding. I REALLY wanted to make it work for the brushed silver finish and extra concavity not to mention the meaty setup overall. I think Ive decided 17x8.5s will be ordered instead which for those of you that don't know will look like this: (credit) ![]() (credit) ![]()

Thanks! I got the one without the vent and would recommend that. The vent piece takes 10 minutes in theory, but let’s say 1 hour in practice if you really take your time to trial and error. Overall the install is slightly meticulous but in no way hard which is thanks to the all the instructions out there and the build quality.

Mounted the new wheels today. This setup is more common in the non-M E46 world but looks right at home on the F22.
![]() This was my first time ceramic coating a set of wheels. I went with 2 coats of CARPRO DLUX and 1 coat of GLISS and let them cure inside for ~3 days. Made sure to clean the calipers while I was swapping wheels too. ![]() The rear caliper fitment wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. Inner struct clearance on the other hand was pretty scary. ![]() Fender fitment. ![]() Appreciating the new view. ![]()

Man I have been wondering if 17s would fit on my m240i for a long time. Everything I have read was a no. What modifications did you make to fit them?

A few updates. The P3 gauge is gone to a new owner on these forums. I wasn't using it and preferred the OEM look of the interior.
Added a performance lip today (thanks to StarMan for the heads up on what to expect with the install). ![]() The complete Rogue shift kit has been installed for a few weeks finally (more on that here). I'm extremely happy with the shift feel but unfortunately the fit is still not perfect so the saga continues. Between now and Black Friday I plan to pull the trigger on the exhaust and think that'll be one of the best mods yet.
