DIY Wrench/Coding party
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has experience doing a DIY spring install?
I have a bunch of tools and have done lots of work on Jeeps but its a little unnerving pulling an $80k car apart without experience. I was thinking of hosting a little DIY/Coding party at my house if there is anyone with some experience to assist and others would certainly be welcome to give a hand or have their cars coded and possibly some other DIY stuff. Could be a good way to save some dough and learn a bit more about our cars. Let me know your thoughts. |

Here's a DIY video that was just posted installing Macht Schnell springs that will overview the steps involved:
Hope this helps.

I have to say after watching that video and knowing what I do about installing multiple lift kits on Wranglers, I think I am going to knock this out myself. I know nothing is as easy as a video but there doesn't look like anything crazy that I haven't encountered working on other vehicles.

I think a buddy and I may try to tackle it this weekend but not sure which day yet. Watching the video it seems very similar to putting a lift kit on a Wrangler just going the other direction lol. I will update the post in case you or anyone else wants to swing by and can PM my address to whoever is interested.
