DIY Wrench/Coding party

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has experience doing a DIY spring install?

I have a bunch of tools and have done lots of work on Jeeps but its a little unnerving pulling an $80k car apart without experience.

I was thinking of hosting a little DIY/Coding party at my house if there is anyone with some experience to assist and others would certainly be welcome to give a hand or have their cars coded and possibly some other DIY stuff.

Could be a good way to save some dough and learn a bit more about our cars. Let me know your thoughts.

Here's a DIY video that was just posted installing Macht Schnell springs that will overview the steps involved:

Hope this helps.

I'd definitely plan on coming if this gets set up, bb, even without my car...

I like this idea a lot.

I have to say after watching that video and knowing what I do about installing multiple lift kits on Wranglers, I think I am going to knock this out myself. I know nothing is as easy as a video but there doesn't look like anything crazy that I haven't encountered working on other vehicles.

I think a buddy and I may try to tackle it this weekend but not sure which day yet. Watching the video it seems very similar to putting a lift kit on a Wrangler just going the other direction lol. I will update the post in case you or anyone else wants to swing by and can PM my address to whoever is interested.

I've installed my own down pipes and charge pipes. It really wasn't bad at all. I will be doing my suspension next. I'm will to help.

Exhaust parts are pretty easy (just nuts and bolts), suspension parts seem much more challenging.
