"Will it still work?" aka "is this guy is a moran..."
DIY'ers,
I have a quick question. Relevant details of what I have preparing to go into my 2, are below to "fix the glitch" of BMW's lackluster "HiFi" sound. Detail's: Car: 2017 M240i 8AT RWD "hi-fry" 676 optioned coupe. 5 year old Technic 7ch HiFi (676)/HK(674) harness. - https://technicpnp.com/product/7ch-h...hk674-harness/ F & R coaxials - https://audison.com/product/apx-4/ Amp for F - R - Underseat Stock 8" <sarc "Subs"> - https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/...plifiers-98605 Trunk Sub - https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/...-systems-93324 Amp for Trunk 10" JL box - https://www.audiocontrol.com/car-aud...iers/acm-1300/ Here's to hoping this is a straight up YES/NO kinda question. The search function finally used it's "safe word" and called it quits with all I have been using it, so now I turn to ya'll, respectfully, for a resolution. But my question is, would a 5 year old but perfectly serviceable Technic 7ch HiFi (676)/HK(674) harness, work with the 2017 factory audio harness in my 2 or did pin-outs change, etc. and I need to go get a new one? Many thanks to all of the awesome people here that freely share their knowledge, and I thank you for it, so here's to me being sure someone will know. Thank's go out to Viffermike - https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...r+installation and Zooks527 - https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1202389 for their fantastic instructions on the how to install it thread's. Thank you for making another DIYer installer's life a little bit easier by your efforts. |

Is a 5 year old part going to work in a 6 year old car? Why wouldn't it?
If you have doubts with your setup, start with one thing at a time. Test. Move on to the next thing. |
