We had a look at the ports, and they're not as bad as others, although I'm still going to get the walnut blasting done.

More investigating, found that one of the ports on the intake side for cylinder 6 wasn't opening. Turns out the finger(?) had come off.

That's been reattached and now no more misfires on cylinder 6 at 6k+ rpm.

Thanks to CPC for battling through with this.

What "finger" came off? Hydraulic lifter maybe? How would it come off?
