drying car
What a good way to dry a car after a wash ? I have a thick plush M/F (i think) towel, it's a proper detailing towel, not a bath one it seems to do a good job,
What's your thoughts on a detailing spray afterwards ? Or just put a layer of wax on ? |

Many like a leaf blower for door jambs, mirror housings & other tight spots.
A natural chamois will pull wax off the paint, so keep it for your glass! There are drying aids that you spray while the car is still wet. Adam's H2O Guard & Gloss is a great product that you can spray on & then dry your car, or spray onto a damp MF cloth with a dry car. Adds protection & gloss. You don't need to use it with every wash - it can last several months. Works on paint, trim & glass. Be sure to shake it up well while using. https://adamspolishes.com/products/a...2o-guard-gloss

1) Leaf blower to remove 90% of water
2) Dampen a microfiber towel with drying aid and wipe down one panel (I'm currently rotating between Adams Detail Spray and P&S Bead Maker but plan to try Xtreme Solutions Topper next) 3) Second pass with a soft dry microfiber to remove any remaining water/product Efficient and car comes out great.

Like using Lucas Slick Mist on a wet car after a wash and using a few plush microfiber fleecy towels to wipe dry.
Since I wash more often than I wax, detailing spray is great. I find almost any was (spray wax) needs more buffing to remove than detail spray and probably a good idea to minimize buffing when and if you can. |
