No clue... didn't think there would be any difference. Customer service assured me it would not fit though.

Wonder if anyone on here ever bit the bullet? ie, bought the RWD set for a Drive car.

Changed my plugs today....

Actually bought them, Bosch ZR5TPP33S from FCP so long ago they are now discontinued but those are what was in there from the factory. But at 73,000 miles it's time and I made the time today to get the job done.

It actually is an easy job particularly if you watch this video first. I wish I had that locking extension but some electrical tape took care of that.

I was surprised that it seems there was a bit of rust on the OEM plug threads that was down in the well when the plugs are removed but fortunately I had a small attachment for my shop vac that sucked it out easily. All 6 wells had the dust.

The plugs get torqued to 17ft/lbs which was easy. No anti-seize for me. But I was also surprised that the plugs that came out, I am sure they were never changed before, had a gap of about .025 and the plug box said .032. I split the difference and went with .030 as the plug gap tool I had didn't have .032 and I won't use flat gauges on plugs.

All in all an easy job. If you have the tools and watch the video, it's under 2 hours start to finish taking your time to do every step absolutely right. Second time you do it's an hour.

It's a bit pricy and not absolutely necessary, but the BMW Spark Plug Installation Tool (83300496065) made threading the plugs back in by hand easy eliminating the possibility of cross threading. It is a good purchase if you have the money. I never saw a tool that I didn't need.

No one should be afraid of this job. And it was a nice day here in New Jersey to do it in the shade of my driveway.

Installed the Ultimate Clutch Pedal. I've had it sitting in a box for almost 2 years dreading the install since I'm a big guy and this is a confined space. Took all of 45 minutes. Should have done this a long time ago!

Hey, I know all about waiting to install mods, as I still haven't put the wheels I bought from you a year ago on the car.

They have new A/S 3+s on them for the shoulder seasons, and they've been refreshed and ceramic-coated, so maybe this fall – who knows, it might be time to put them on.

Dealer offers valet pickup and return, using a nice trailer. Got brake flush, some computer flash that messed up my main menu, summer tires finally, and black m-style mirror caps. and they washed it, which is nice.

yeah, so they did flash some computers tuesday. recoded some stuff: sensitive auto-wipers, mirror folding, turned off drive warning, a few other random things.

veepeak and bimmercode, good stuff.

i wish i could get mirrors to fold when i lock with top down, but the top starts to go up too soon. maybe it uses sunroof timing?

I always wondered what these wheels would look like in this color! I was deciding between E46 ZHP or E92 ZCP style wheels. Decided on the E92 style.

Did the same and agree completely!

Ineresting part is how many folks who look at the car wind up asking what it is...the 2 is not immediately recognized by more than you might think.

I was going to suggest that's because there aren't too many of our cars around. I rarely see one where I am – maybe a few times each year, if that. That's likely a regional thing, though.

I called up the US sales through June for the 2 Series, and was pleasantly surprised at the May and June numbers. They're months six and seven out of the seventy-eight months these cars have been on sale. July, 2016 was the last month more 2s were sold than during this May and June.

Interesting stats. I bought mine CPO back in August '18.

As for seeing other 2-Series on the road/out-and-about here in San Diego I've only ever seen four other 2'ers in two years, and one of those is the M2 that a guy at my work center got.
