Isn't it crazy, that was the first thing I noticed when I picked up the box was how light they were! I wanna tell you to order them now, but I think your doing the right thing and waiting to see what the fitment looks like on our 2er first. DOC should have his mounted soon. Mine will probably be on next week by the looks of it.
Ill just order the tirerack TPMS sensors. 35 bucks is a great price! If they didnt work, worst case is we pay double to have the tire removed and reinstalled and balanced again and I wouldn't want to pay that twice |

Here you go... Oh before I forget, Titan told me the wheels will accept the new G series oem cap (56mm) so I placed an order for the floating style since their caps were on backorder anyways https://www.flickr.com/photos/188973...57714778526118 Last edited by Devil doc; 06-19-2020 at 07:34 AM.. |

It’s about to rain so weather is not cooperating today, but I figured it would give you an idea of what they look like. Last edited by Devil doc; 06-20-2020 at 03:31 PM.. |

any issues with fit ? Poke ? You go 3 or 5mm up front ? how far off strut they say ? thx for all the info Man cleaned up and blinged, thats gonna look fantastic Last edited by 4Hockey4; 06-19-2020 at 07:04 PM.. |

I bought a pair of 5mm/3mm spacers, while the car was on the lift I placed the 5mm spacer in the front and the 3mm in the back, giving me a final front et39 and rear et41; However. I will be flipping the spacers so I can run the 3mm in the front for a lil less poke and the 5mm in the back for a more flush look. Keep in mind this is for a 235/40 tire, once I go wider, I might need to return them back to a front-5/rear-3 as I currently have them. You can see the amount of room with the 5mm spacer in the front, it’s pretty decent. I could probably fit my index finger between the rim and the strut, so there’s plenty room in there. thx for info, so a 3mm might work up front for strut ??, but even with 5mm, doesn't look like much poke.
Or maybe 5mm all the way around ? I was leaning 5mm front and nothing back...but wondering if 3mm front and 5mm back. |

Wow, these wheels really open up the visuals of the rotors and calipers! Def a good looking design that, I have not seen on 2 series before. Once you get the tires cleaned and blackend, add center caps and these are really gonna pop even more.
5mm up front looks pretty flush! Ill have the Bilstein b16 coilovers with these, so I'm a bit anxious to see how they will fit with the car having some height lowered. Did the tirerack sensors work without issue? Is there anything we need to do when pairing a new set of sensors? |

I’m pretty sure you can run a 3mm spacer in the front and call it the day, at least with a 235/40. The poke in the front with a 5mm is minor and only noticeable in certain angles. I guess it becomes more relevant with a wider tire. I’m going to flip them and compare the “look” In regards to an 18x8.5 rim, I’ve read some people rubbed in the back with a et38 and a 255/35 tire, and I’ve also read there’s no rubbing with a et40 and a 245/35 tire, so it seems like a rear 3mm spacer should be enough to give you a flush look while allowing you to run those wider tires. The 3mm and the et44 rim should place you at an et41, which should clear a 245/35 as Already shown by others, or the 255/35 (worse case you can take the spacer out from the rear if you choose the 255/35 route) As of now, with a smaller 235/40 tire and a final et41 (rear), it’s close to flush with a 3mm but could use a lil larger spacer, this is the reason why I’ll flip to a rear 5mm. |

I like the look of your rear set up currently, and if 3mm clears front, then 3mm square might be way to go
I'm def. doing 235/40 PS4S, and not completely flush is ok You get the Titan Caps or BMW ? I might look into Apex 75mm studs and spacers, unless someone has better suggestions |

I don’t think you’ll have issues with the b16s (I’m not sure how much larger they are over the oem strut), but I doubt they will contact the wheel/tire with a 5mm spacer; As far as the sensors, I was planning on running the new ones but the installer talked me into reusing the original ones, and since he offered to swap them out from the original wheel set at no cost, I ended up reusing the oem tpms in the new wheels, and placing the new tpms ones in the old wheel set. The installer did tell me about the new tpms needing to be coded (100$ fee), but I’m not sure how accurate is that information, but I do have a scanner tool That allows for some coding/resets so I didn’t care too much for the coding part if it was indeed needed. Yes, indeed – it's enough to make a guy with four sets of wheels and tires think about maybe acquiring a fifth set!

Titan7’s caps were on back order for at least 30 days, but the wheels will accept the new g series 56mm caps. Apparently they are a direct fit, so I got a floating set for 75$ which was actually cheaper than the titan7 caps. Im going to swap the spacers and see how it looks, ill gladly take some pics for you so you can decide if you want to run a square 3mm, a square 5mm or a 5/3 combination like me. These pictures show another member with an M5 successfully using the 56mm floating claps in a T-S5 wheel Last edited by Devil doc; 06-19-2020 at 10:27 PM.. |

Where you order new G series 56mm BMW caps from ? (I do wonder how much my 235 non AWD would fit different, better, worse , same...looks like on strut nt alot of room, love to do 3mm if possible) Tight M5 too...wheels look real nice, and got something "special" Last edited by 4Hockey4; 06-20-2020 at 10:03 AM.. |

The fitment should be the same, I don’t think you will have a different result, and I’m pretty sure you could do a front 3mm spacer is you wanted to. There was plenty of room in there when I looked at it yesterday. I got the floating caps from amazon. Last edited by Devil doc; 06-20-2020 at 11:03 AM.. |
