GAME OF THRONES: The Final Season! [Trailer] Ongoing Discussion Thread
IMO... This is easily the GREATEST SERIES IN TELEVISION HISTORY!
It is already the most successful and epic in scope for HBO, ever. I have binge watched all 7 seasons repeatedly. And I can't wait for the spinoffs! But for now, A Man anxiously awaits Spring... |

We don't have HBO at home, so we go over to SIL every Sunday. Good Sunday dinner, BIL makes me a drink, then I sit on the couch and watch the pretty pictures because for some ungodly reason, the TV can't be above 13 on the volume control.
We started doing 2 episodes each Sunday starting in S5 a few weeks ago. We finally got across with complaints from even the 30-somethings that nobody could hear the dialogue. Actually hearing, and knowing who is screwing whom, which is his sister, etc makes it much more enjoyable. Marcus, I bet in your viewing room it would be epic. |

I am still AMAZED at how little/less Big Screen TV's cost these days! I just recently saw an 80" 4k for @ 2 grand!!! That is a price I would easily pay. There is a quote I made years ago: "The money I spend on my HT setup is an investment in my entertainment." Going to a movie is basically an experience. Or at least it should be when you consider the cost, time and effort. I have had the feeling for years that someone would come along and revolutionize how and what we watch at home. Along came NETFLIX! And guess what it is happening now? Warner Bros, SONY, UNIVERSAL are all vying to bring their own "Streaming Service" to homes. I see the fall of Big Chain Theaters coming soon.... |

So excited!
The wife and I started re-watching season 7 a couple weeks back. Plan was to just casually watch here and there to tide us over until Season 8. Well we binge watched the whole damn season in a weekend. So now we have backed up to season 5 and will watch 5, 6, 7 (again) and be in good shape for 8. |

I watched the first episode for the heck of it, not thinking I would like it.
Was hooked. But there are a few episodes I can't watch a second time. One is the ..... red wedding... That still bothers me.. so don't even mention it in the thread... waaaaaaaa |

2nd Favorite Series Ever. The Wire is my all time fav! That said, I will watch this like my life depends on it!! I'm going back to watch season 6 now!
I also recommend the Arya Kill Videos. She's RUTHLESS. Thanks Big Marcus!!!

Okay.... Battle of the GoT Hotties!!!
Who you got??? Sansa (Sophie Turner) or Margery (Natalie Dormer) Or the Queen of Dragons herself: Emilia Clarke I'm personally hypnotized by Sansa's eyes and overall facial structure and that fiery red hair! But Emilia is a "natural beauty" without zero makeup with amazing lips and nice teeth! Which I'm always attracted to. |

My response: "It shows we know a bad-ass when we see one!" I also have really liked the evolution of Sansa over the years. I HATED her initially. A worthless, whiny, sniveling, little snot of a girl. She's becoming a total bad-ass in her own right. Not an assassin like Arya but a crafty, methodical, political, bad-ass who is every bit as deadly. |

I don't know if it's just one woman or not because of volume, but that priestess of The Light that pulled things out of a brazzer

My feelings and sentiments, exactly. Remind the wife that had this been real, back in that day Arya would have been nearly at the age to be married off (11 or 12 to be betrothed) and probably have a child by 15. The times have changed. Let's ask UncleWede , he probably remembers 1st hand.
