235i Interior Carbon Trim Upgrade
Hi guys, I am new here. I want to upgrade the trim on my 235i from the silver one to the carbon one. Found a couple on ebay and other websites but not sure if they are OEM. Obviously I am looking for a good price. This is what I've found:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BMW-M-P...YAAOSwstJZP53q And https://vinicart.com/collections/oth...erior-trim-kit Except this one is only for the 1 series. I don't trust ebay sellers due to past experience but this one seems ok. What are your thoughts? |

You can do it yourself for about 30 bucks. I just made a tutorial video on this actually!

I thought of wrapping it first but a friend of mine recommended to go for the real carbon instead of the wrap as after some time when cleaning the car and so on it starts to peel off. But definitely considering the wrap. Thanks for the video!

Yeah I would go with real carbon fiber if it was cheaper definitely. But for $30 it's a great alternative I think it will hold up well too. The vinyl is pretty thick.

The ebay one looks legit to me. I got the set from the members classified section here for $510.

Neither are OEM. OEM trim has alcantara with the M Performance logo stitching on the dash trim.
Get the OEM trim - don't wrap it. Even with the 3M DINOC, the texture isn't even close to the look and premium feel of the real thing. |

Think it's a mislabel. The first one looks OEM.
The M2 has an all carbon option which is what I have without the alcantara and the logo. Personal preference but I much prefer the no logo option. |

Got the one from ebay, everything installed smooth and looks great. I sold the silver trim to a friend who had his trim scratched (got his car from an auction). Anyway, thanks for all the opinions guys.

If you want quality and craftsmanship thats way underpriced, I'd go with NRW. Steven's doing my wheel and dash trim now with an exotic fiber for a practical steal.
