Who's running 3 or 5mm spacers?
Looking into 3-5mm spacers to ensure my new wheel & tire setup clears the suspension.
did anyone run into vibration issues with 5mm spacers. IE. was there enough lip left to ensure the wheels were still hub centric. Also, for those of you running 3mm was there enough thread on the oem lugs or did you purchase extended lugs? |

good question. i am curious as well. i've seen sites where it states to use the OEM lugs for 3mm and 5mm kits come with extended lugs.
would be great to have someone confirm.

I'm about to install 5mm and 12.5mm spacers... Will let you know how it goes. Ended up getting a set with correct bolts from ECS tuning. Similar prices to eBay but was able to ensure I got both from the same vendor.

I think 3 mm spacers can be used with oem lugs, though. Last edited by x233; 04-06-2016 at 09:47 AM.. |

Awesome, thanks for the info everyone!
I ended up lucking out and was able to get matching 5mm spacers and bolts from BBS that work with their PFS system. Good to know that either that the stock bolts or possibly the extended bolts could work if I had to dial it down to 3mm spacers. |

Yeah you should be good with the 3mm spacers and stock bolts. Just don't over tighten and stretch the threads.
