The M235 is limited in colors ... VO will look great on this car but you have to get the 228, which is not bad in itself given the saving.

I ordered mine at the end of December with the setup below. I have my production and vin numbers and I am in the process of tracking her. I'm still waiting on Performance Parts pricing so I don't know the whole number, but this is how I built her.
M235i coupe Mineral Grey Metallic LCSW ZDA ZPP ZTP 302 4DL 674 ZMT $51,250 (inc dest charge) //www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/BYO/SharedBuild.aspx?ConfigurationId=4978653 I'll be coming off a 335is which cost me 11k more and I honestly can't find anywhere this baby falls short other than overall size. Should see her in March. Very excited! I'm hoping there's a bit of a "cult" following that goes along with ownership that some of the other BMW models have. I'm tempted to get a M235 as a run-a-bout to compliment my M6. |

I'll be very disappointed if this thing really weighs 3505 with a manual. That's 300 lbs more than my old E46 sedan. A lot of lightness technology has been developed in the past 10 years. When you factor that in a lot more than 300 lbs has been squandered on this car. How can Porsche make cars at just over 3000 lbs? How can BMW not notice? Or not care.
