As said before Leipzig are not able to accommodate BMW Individual and the 1er , 2er and X1 are exempt from the programme.

Thanks for the interesting tidbits of info you always provide. But I hope you are taking notes on all of us wanting better color and interior options for the M235. A lot of us are disapointed in the lack of options. Can we expect to see new color and interior options swapped in for each new model year? Similar to how SGM was replaced by space grey in the 1 series? As far as info to ask for at the Detroit reveal: A good detailed explanation of the suspension options would be appreciated. Any info you could give us on performance parts. Specifically will they be factory, dealer, or port installed?

Scott,
Can you please elaborate more on this and tell us if the xDrive system will be just like every other BMW Xdrive? Or will the M235i have a special xDrive system of its own? |

If not, hoping for some bright, enthusiastic colours for the M when it's released (grammatically correct sentence hopefully). |

At the end of production they did authorise some of the last units to be Individualised hence the Green Mamba Car and a few others at the end of production. What will happen with the M2 is too early to say... Although I am sure we will have an extended palette and maybe new exclusive colors? But vehicles produced at Leipzig - 1er , 2er , X1 even the i3 and i8 are not offered to the Individual programme. In diesel for Europe I think the limit will be 225d. With the base at 218d. The press launch for the media is imminent. So a lot more will be known about everything regarding the new 2er Coupe.

The next generation X1 will almost certainly be offered with a diesel.

Doesn't the power kit come standard on the M235?

Seems to be the case to me...unless you can only go that route if you're one of the very first people to take delivery. Perhaps later orders will accommodate factory install of these parts...

That's a good question--maybe for the M135/235, they aren't "counting" the additional ~20 BHP as the PPK, as you would on a 335 or 435 or whatever.
The rumor had been that the power kit would get the M235 into the ~350 BHP range. It will be interesting to see if that's true, and if so, how much $$$ it is going to be...
