Will the M235i xDrive get a proper sport suspension?

I may have missed this in the various threads, but do we know if BMW will offer a true sports suspension on the M235i xDrive? It's my one pet-peeve about my "Sports Package" equipped e92 335i xDrive. The most important item in that package is missing: i.e. lowered, tighter suspension.

I would hope since it's a semi-M model that they wouldn't continue with the 4x4 xdrive suspensions.

Rumors, thoughts?

from motor trend

Although we’ve bemoaned the fact the hot M135i won’t make it to American roads, we’re thankful the M235i will. Better yet, it’ll make it to our shores fairly shortly. Leaked BMW USA documents confirm the M235i production begins in November, and will be sold here in rear-drive guise only.

Strange, per this thread, the VIN search confirmed a M235i xdrive for the US.

If Motor Trend is right, no need to keep salivating over this car for me. That CLA45 AMG is looking better and better.

I still don't get the fwd based A45 as a competitor to the M2 or 235i. S3 sedan or Golf R, sure, but the Haldex setup with 60% rear power transfer max just really kills it for me, as does the two pedal only configuration.

I realize you were talking about an awd 235i, but that would have a steady 40/60 split, so in a straight line, it would be as aggressive as the A45 at full slip and would still have the potential to move another 20% to the rear.

i'm not sure what the M135i xDrive has but I would assume the M235i xDrive would have the same as it
