So maybe later 220d x-drive?
Curious about the 218i also, what engine will receive? The one from the 3 series or the one from the 1 series?

As Audi released the A3 SB and a Sedan version will follow, also Mercedes released the new CLA (attractive only with 4matic) I really hope that this new 2 series will be a much more enthusiast addressed car!

-6WA Instrument cluster with extended contents
-2vf adaptiv m suspension

So sold on a M235i... is the US version Xdrive only though? It's between this and the new A3 sportback for me so they need to hurry up and show it!

The MY2014 model list the dealers just received only shows the RWD F22s for US. Not sure what's happening with xDrive.

I think this is another opportunity for me to point out that these entries only tell us what vehicles BMW is testing - not which ones they are actually going to put into production.

Ah ok good, from quick glance it looked that US was getting xDrive only while Europe got it all. Thanks for the info!

As the first post says:

* Note: the list may not be comprehensive or up-to-date and info has not been verified by BMW.

I'm sure we'll see an M235i with 6 speed manual.

does anyone know if the DCT will be available, or is that offical dead for the 2er... really did not like the 8-speed ZF unit I drove a couple months ago, and I'm hoping that the dual clutch will at least be an priced option.

It's the same engine, only detuned to 218 PS as it is in F20 125i.

Garage List
2007 E92 328i  [10.00]
2007 328i  [10.00]
This is interesting--thanks for sharing.

One thing I am wondering about is timing. My 135 lease ends on December 10--obviously these babies won't be on this side of the pond by then. Not really sure what I am going to do as a result...

There isn't any other car in the BMW lineup that I would consider right now, so if the timing doesn't work out for me, might have to deviate from the brand a bit...

I am also not blown away with the N55. I had an N54 6MT for a couple of years, and am in a N55 DCT now. The current car just doesn't do it for me--it doesnt feel nearly as powerful as my old N54. It also uses more oil...I was hoping for a new engine option on the 235/M235....

We shall see..

Maybe you should ask for lease extension.

The M235i specs show production starts November, so it might be here in US by January.

If your lease is with BMW Financial, they allow lease extension of up to 4 mos. if you have a new one on order. Hope that helps.

anyone feel like me that bmw now has too many options and after 5 years all these new models including all the "series" will be on pre-owned certified lots and everyone will be buying a bmw.

10 yrs ago having a bmw was "wow" seems like in 5 years only having a austin martin or ferrari will be a "wow"

sad how a $80,000 m3 will be compared to a $30,000 320i
