Think black looks best but voted oyster due to your location in the south and climate. Not sure you needed to include the other two colors in the poll. Honestly think they'd look horrible.

The problem for me with Oyster. Is that on the M235i it doesn't have black top caps the the door cards.

You guys hit the nail on the head. I really like Melbourne Red but...nothing makes sense to me for interior color choices.
Black...too hot for the south Coral Red...that's a lot of red with a red exterior Oyster...I'll trash a white carpet. White seats with jeans...not so good. Terra...not a good match to red exterior Oyster combined with black carpet and dash would be OK like the 228i. Venetian Beige like the 3 series. Why can't BMW give more interior choices?? I think your best bet is tint and hope for the best with black leather. Really the best looking combo IMO. Otherwise you can wait for 2015 and hopefully some more color choices, but that's far from guaranteed.

Black interiors get far too hot too quickly, even with tint, and make the interior seem smaller and closed-in. Oyster or Coral are much more appealing and Coral isn't really too much red. It simply looks more coordinated.

I've got a deposit down for the first slot on a 2015. Perhaps more choices to come. Black looks good but I hear all the comments about the bat cave look. If they would add Venetian Beige that would be a nice alternative.

I went for black. Everything else didn't really work IMO

Black and do a ceramic tint all the way around, including a 70% ceramic to the windshield. It'll be alright. Here in SoCal we get lots of sun and the 70% ceramic tint I used on the windshield (along with the 35% ceramic everywhere else) help keep the seats from burning your butt. I recently had to get my windshield replaced and lost the front tint. I can assure you it makes a HUGE difference.
If you are waiting for a 2015, the oyster is supposed to be updated to have less oyster and more cowbell. |

Nah, be bold! With mats, all you are out is $100 and they wear out anyway. Bolden it up with what makes you happy! I can see your concern with upholstery because that is expensive and difficult to change but mats, go for it! Stand out!
