ABS TCS stability control lights on

Hi guys,

I have a bmw e90 330i and have a bit of a mad problem my car has developed over the past month. Basically every now and again my ABS TCS & stability system pop up saying failure.

Are all these systems linked? Anyone know if it's likely to be a sensor or a particular part that's failed.

There are a number of possible causes. You will need to get the diagnostic codes read using INPA, DIS or by a dealer / indy in order to understand exactly what the issue is with your car.

My story is hereL

This is a common fault and there are numerous other posts on the subject

I had that kind of problem, turned out to be an ABS sensor failed.

1st do a battery/alternator charging check as a failing battery or alternator can cause error codes to pop up!

Funny you should say that, I replaced my battery as it was pretty much useless, ran the new battery for 1 month before I decided to replace a faulty alternator.

Might take it to ATS and get the battery checked out just in case.
