BMW M235i M Performance Parts and M235i Racing Car Gallery @ Press Launch
Hi everyone,
I represented BIMMERPOST at the press launch of the BMW M235i at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Here are some images I took of the M235i Racing and M235i Performance Parts cars at the launch. I had a chance to inspect the body parts up close and I would say the quality is excellent. All of the body fitments had tight, consistent gaps, and the look was aggressive and polished. [M Performance Parts details] The M235i Racing car [official thread] was also very interesting to look at. Its blistered fenders remind me of the E30 M3 and the M hood stripes look fantastic. Stay tuned for the full review of the M235i and the 4 series convertible, including driving impressions! The 19" version of the style 405 look better than the F32 performance wheels shown here. I do however like all the carbon fiber and alacantra parts.

Thank you the great pics. Quality was so good I felt like they were right in front of me. Really helps the decision making process. Are those cars Alpine White or Mineral White Metallic? I'm guessing alpenweiss but I can never tell.

Why the racing M235i has the screen but no Idrive controller ??
Is it me or I can see the "start/stop" button in the racing car 😜 |

So I don't get it
Is this car an M car or a 2 series with an M package?

I gotta say, this car is absolutely badass looking. It looks like an e46 m3 had a baby with a 1M. |

There haven't been any announcements, and since they just revealed all the M Performance parts, I'd say it's a no at this point. There's always the aftermarket.
I'm really curious what exactly the M235i Racing is all about. I know what it is, but I don't understand why it is. Is there going to be an M235i racing series, like a cup series or something?
