Updated with my trip itinerary at the end of the post.

I have my spot reserved for an M235i I am going to do a July 3 Euro Delivery as well as PCD re-delivery. This will be my first ED and very excited about it! I am working with David Aviles because of the recommendations of others on here.

March 15 Production Number Received


March 25 Received my confirmation of July 3 Euro Delivery Date

March 28 Using AAdvantage Miles I am now booked First Class to and from Europe on British Airways! 125,000 miles round trip.


April 1 Received a very nice packet from BMW with information about Euro Delivery.







May Itinerary Nailed Down and Lodging Booked

Day 1 - Flying
Day 2 - Zurich
Day 3 - Train to Munich
Day 4 - BMW Welt: Factory Tour, Museum and Delivery
Day 5 - Drive Day: Munich -> Neuschwanstein Castle -> Stelvio Pass -> Varenna, Italy on Lake Como
Day 6 - Rest Day: Lake Como
Day 7 - Drive Day: Varenna -> Stuttgart: Porsche Factory Tour & Musuem -> Cologne, Germany
Day 8 - Rest Day: Nürburgring
Day 9 - Back to Zurich to Drop off the car

June 6
Production Begins! Scheduled completion June 12

Right now he said they have one a month. I am not looking to be the first one in the US though lol more interested in getting a summer Euro Delivery.

Alright because it seems like 3-4 people on this forum alone have secured 235s with him.

Sounds like it's going to be a fun trip (x2 for both ED and PCD).

I assumed the one a month was for the M235 though and not the 228 but I could be wrong.

Very excited for the ED and PCD trips The main reason I chose PCD though is that it's closer to Dallas than California for driving it back home lol

That hasn't been confirmed yet. I'm expecting / hoping that to be the case though.

I'm still trying to decide on the options .

I am yet to see terra brown! I don't want it to be orange. I would have rather it been a darker brown . I might get oyster, but who knows since I only really like oyster/black.

I am also not sure which one goes better with the performance interior. I wish the performance interior was all carbon fiber like the current e82. Never been a fan of aluminum interior, and I prefer the darker wood options...

Also, instead of getting tech options, I might be more performance oriented.

I kinda want Recaro's in the car (such like the CLA45 AMG ones), but not sure if BMW will release in the future, or how much the new M3/M4 seats will cost. Currently solutions require lots of $$$$. If I go this route, I may just get leatherette to save some cost, and invest in seats later. I went to the dealership, and could not tell the difference between leather and leatherette, but the cars were brand new as well.

I may get the tech package. Not keen on spending 2k for navigation, since my commute is 15 miles a day. However, the bigger screen and the black panel LCD instrument cluster are very tempting : (

If the Terra Brown looks like the UK Configurator shows it to be I'll be very happy. Doesn't look to have that orange tint that my E92 had. I love the oyster too but I don't want to keep that clean!

I have seen the Fineline wood in person though and really loved it. Was really bummed when that wasn't an option with M Sport on the F30.

I hear ya on the tech package though... if it was only a Nav I'd agree but with all it comes with I think it's worth it. I will really miss the HUD though, that's the one thing I'll be giving up from my F30

Oh? Were they willing to negotiate any? I have given up on the DFW dealerships. They have always been $200-300 more per month than others.

not really. I will probably settle for free tint or something, or get a better deal on my trade in. Kinda waiting for the last moment before I sign papers before I pull a fast one on them : ).

Get it out of state and have it delivered to the Performance Center, not too bad of a drive from there to Dallas. And you get a day of track driving fun

Not yet. I don't think the ED Orders have been released yet? I will email and ask though.

I was just wondering because I went in to do a ed order today and the head of new car sales told me that you may still need an allocation from the dealer to do ed when I said people on the forums were placing orders he asked if they had gotten production # and such

David said ED production numbers won't be available until March. And the first available ED would be March 17.

There is still a Euro Delivery discount that will apply. So not US MSRP.

Not that I have found. I ended up buying my 335i from a dealer in New Jersey because they were over $200/mo cheaper than the best price I could get from the local dealerships.

If you do performance center delivery it doesn't really matter where you buy it from either. Just drive it back to Dallas from there on a weekend.
