convertible performance

I've been reading the 0-60 times for the coupe, seems faster than listed on the BMW site. Would that be applicable to the convertible times as well?

Apparently BMW is conservative when stating 0-60 claims, so it is likely.

YMMV; BMW published figures tend to be a little conservative. But: (a) the cabriolet is heavy; and (b) many factors affect 0-60 times, which are not, under the best of circumstances, a good measure of real-world performance.

Vert is about .2 seconds slower to 60 because of the weight penalty, so take .2 off any coupe times. Seems that most people get a better time than BMW advertised, even most of the magazines got the coupe to 60 in under 5 seconds vs. the advertised 5.3

I have a E93 335. I test drove a E93 328 at BMW's Drive for a Cure event, and it was really slow. The 335 at least feels as fast as the 0-60 claim of 5.5 seconds, although I would guess its close to 0-60 in about 5.0 seconds.
