If take care of your paint any color should last more than you.

the only reason why they fade is because the owner didn't take care of the paint...

The lighter colors tend to look better as they wear, especially if you don't care for them as they tend to show imperfections less. Black looks awesome but is very unforgiving when it comes to scratches, chips or just lack of maintenance. My last car was Titanium Silver and it looked the same dirty or freshly waxed, it just didn't show anything, so if you looking for the lazy mans color, go with something light!

Regardless of color, the plastic on the E9X seems to fade faster--it doesn't seem to be as noticeable on darker colors....

absolutely agree. also as mentioned, although black is one of the nicesest colors when clean, it is a real b*tch to keep it that way. some black cars even show fingerprints when u tough it (unlike lighter colors.

white and silver r probably the esiest to keep clean, but no offense to anyone out there, white is non metalic, and silver is almost too popular.
i really like the titanium silver, but went with the space grey for my e93 instead.
