Been done a million times; make it a million and one now.

as has been pointed before, polls such as this are really only going to give you a demographic of e90post.com users and not a truly representative demographic of e9x buyers (as a good majority have probably never even heard of the the site).

Here's a link to a post by Revlis that provides a demographic profile of the 3 series buyer.

Got my first bimmer when I was 16 (e36 M3), 2nd bimmer at 18 (e46 M3) and now my third at 20 (e92 335i)! I consider myself lucky. I got my first 2 cars because they were my dads old cars!

You can buy a new car from BMW if your 18. All you have to do is have your father or mother cosign.

Im 20 and to the flamers my parents have never put 1 dollar toward my cars. once i got into college all the gifts were done with. I dont knock kids who get the cars as gifts though, its not their fault that their parents can afford it. Its just a different feeling when an individual is working for something and paying it on his/her own.

I am 19 as of Monday and my 328 coupe will be here in october. I would be lying if I said my parents arent helping me, but I am proud to say I am paying for MOST of it. I am leasing btw, and the reason my father allowed this is because I proved something to him he thought I could never accomplish. Thats why he is going to help me get this car. I know he is secretly dying to drive it to

The group here is even younger than I would have expected. I realize that the demographics of this site are skewed a little on the young side but I didn't think it be this much. As for 3 series, I almost exclusively see 325s and 328s on the road in my area, and the owners would probably average 40+ years old and female (which is probably the smallest group that actually posts on here).

I'm 28 next month.

Yeah, the average person I see driving a 3er around here is 30-40 female. Here on this site, there's almost nobody who fits that profile.
