Can't you simply take the loaner back and get another one?

Sorry guy, but ROFLMAO. It should be part of the Maintenance program, every 6000 miles - change the fuel pump.

This is why I'll never buy a first year BMW again. My 01 M3 spend 28 days in the shop over a 6 month period.

Who are we kidding, they can't keep the 335i on the lot long enough for a bird to crap on it. I knew about the fuel pump issue and still bought one off the lot. So far @2800 without an issue, May 07 build.

OP too bad about the loaner....good luck

The only kind of car i've ever owned was a 325i. But after all this, i def will be looking at other brands after im done with this car. This is beyond rediculous.

the car had the same manufacturing date as my car. So i think this was part of that bad bunch of pumps. Hopefully, it's fixed now with the new cars.

Is there still a shortage of replacement pumps? How long have you been without your car?

Pisser, but really.... "This Cannot Be happening to me" A little over dramatic yeah? It's a freaking car... A luxury car at that, it's nothing needed for survival, you don't have cancer and parts are not falling off of you far as we know. It's not your wife or partner in the hospital, it's not your Child being diagnosed with a life threatening illness....

So,

It's LITTLE SHIT, irritant maybe, but if you are OMG over this? Just wait until something important comes along, you'll need to hold on tight.

Don't Sweat the Little shit... And if you aren't out in the middle of the Sahara when your car dies? It's little shit. ALL THE TIME, ALWAYS...

You know what? I hope my car's fuel pump goes out. So I can either lemon it and get another brand new 335 or get my money back and get another new 335i. It would save me 7500 miles that I have put on this car already.
