What Tyres?
So I can finally expect my car on 01st Sept and being 4 weeks late is a tadge frustrating but at least I know it is coming.
Anyway to my question. Is there a standard tyre the car comes with or does it depend on what is in at the time? I am wondering what people had from stock and if I can define the tyre I want with the $tealer. Please let me know.

It would appear it depends on the model and wheel fitment as to what tyres it's delivered with.
Ourf 335d M sport (18" wheels) came with Michelin PS2s. Most 320s I've seen have had Bridgestones. Regards Chris

I've got Michelin PS2's on 18"s too.
They were awesome around the Ring at the weekend and kept me on the track for the 4 laps I completed. If they can do that they can cope with everyday driving conditions!! |

Well thanks for the info. Mine is a 320d M Sport on the 18" alloys. But it does seem a lottery from what you say. Can i specifically ask the dealer for a certain type or is is just pot luck?

Mine came with Bridgstone Potenza's.
I think I read somewhere that 4 cylinder cars can come with the conti's or the bridgstones and that 6 cylinders get the bridgestones of the michelins. Not sure though ... I'd ask the dealer if you are concerned. I've been happy with the bridgestones though. |

It depends on what particular tyre 'batch' the factory has at the time. I think the standard OEM RFT tyres are the Michelin PS2s (18"), Bridgestone Potenza RE050As (17 & 18"), Pirelli (17") & Continental (17"). I myself have got the 18" Bridgestones & they've been doing fine for me. All the best. Viv |
