New car

Hi Guys,

Well i finally picked up the E90 LCI 330i Msport in sapphire black with oyster/black interior and has pretty high spec. Initially impressions are very positive, the car runs very smooth and there is some serious power under the hood. I've bought this as a replacement for my E46 M3 as the E90 is more practice.

will add better pics later and some of my e46

I will be heavy modifying this as i have done with my M3 so look forward to a build thread on this car.

Nice shot. Love the driveway (and the cars!) We need more two BMW families.

Nice car. And also interesting, I had no idea they still made the 330i. I thought it got phased out with the introduction of the 335i back in 07.

Abroad they get to choose from a wide range of engines, from 316d, 320d, 330i, 330d, etc, etc. Check out BMW UK car configurator. While cool, I am content paying 3.50 a gallon and having limited choices than paying out the ass and driving a two liter diesel engine.

Very nice ride though, nice family!

YEah I'd have to agree with you on that. I mean the 316d or 320d would do nothing for me. I would at least need a 335d to be somewhat content with the combo of power and fuel efficiency.

congrats for finding a fully specced 330i lci saloon here in the uk.i found mine after months of looking at an auction and was a northern ireland car.
your car looks stunning.
do you mind if i ask how much the car was? i'd like an idea how much my car is actually worth and if i paid a reasonable price for it.as there are no other simillarly specced cars around i've nothing to compare to.
thanks

Yeah, it took me 6 months to find this one. I went to see it the first day it came up on the approved bmw website. The spec is very high but there are a few marks and scratches on the body work I need sorting. BMW tried to touch up the scratches but have done a crap job The car has done a lot of miles for it age, 28K and is only 2 1/2 years old but I ONLY do 7-8k a year so thats not an issue. I paid 18K for it, which is bargin considering the spec and engine, it was originally up for 19.5K

I bought the car used (2 1/2 years old) but in the UK the 330i was phased out at the end of 2010, so they only made the 330i for 1 year in the LCI shape, which is why is so hard to find one and even harder to find one with a high spec. I got pretty lucky

some pictures of my M3 i took a while back. I'm thinking of putting the genuine LMs on the E90 but as i have had the LMs for 4 years i fancy a change so may sell them and get something different for the e90 maybe some SSRs

Wow, a 330 lci!!! What a beautiful car - congrats!
I seen an lci 330i on the web before but couldn't believe it as the thought of them being discontinued clouded my mind. Happy to know it's still around - maybe one day they'll bring it back here.
