is the hood of our cars made of some sort super soft aluminum?

i had to replace the badge and used screwdriver with thick towel and created 5 ding, so upset.

I tested then another section inside the hood and the metal seems so soft to me. i did the same test on my chrysler 300 car and all feels firm and solid.

had a drunk kid walk all over my trunk roof and hood this past weekend. 3 grand in damage. yes the hood is soft. shit is all banged up. and yes it is aluminum.

If your GF is hot enough to have her photo taken on top of the hood of a car, it may be worth the damage.

not really an exciting story at all. came outside Sunday morning to find hand prints on trunk, and perfect muddy chuck Taylor foot prints up my trunk across the roof and down on my hood. really talented pdr guy today told me he wouldn't touch the hood since it was aluminum. he said it stretches too much when dented and is too soft to work with. the roof is dented in the sorts spots, and its all inconvenient.
cops wouldn't print the trunk even tho there were perfect finger prints. cops said they couldn't prove anything. so....I'll be paying a $500 deductible I didn't want to be spending because some asshole had his first beer and thought he was funny. I wish I knew who did it.
