Sound

Hi,

I've been working on my car for couple of days now and once in a while i hear buzzing sound, more of an electric motor or fuel pump type of sound.
not sure what triggers it but comes pretty much all the time.
the key is not in the ignition but the car is unlocked.

What is this, is this normal?
Thank you.

When you unlock the car the fuel pump gets ready and makes a 'buzzing sound', could that be it?
