Retrofit cruise control

Anybody had the above done?

The wife wants it on the 1er. Don't mind paying about Â£500 but no more.

In short it can be done and if you use an indi you should just about be able to do using new parts withing your budget. You are looking at closer to £800 with a dealer and DIY with used parts a lot less. If you are going down the route of used parts you need to be sure the car it came off has the same setup and slip rings etc. Even if you fit it yourself, you will need to find an indi with Autologic to code it.
