Just lamin-x the lights at most mate (a light tint), don't go too dark or it will start looking chav.

I like, anyway. The quad won't be everyone's cup of tea but there you go.

What engine is it?

Is lamin x easy to fit? Would you need to tell the insurance company?

It's not difficult to find out, just put the reg into Castrol's vehicle finder:

Looks very nice.

The only problem having all the exhaust pipes and spoilers and no V8 under the bonnet is traffic light grand prix.

I got 1 for my 20th mate, the 320d though.. insurance ended up £650 more than the i for the year hahah :O really should have got a quote for the D, just assumed it would be the same as the 320i.. oh well.

@ 18 it must have been fucking horrible!! Really like the quad exhausts mate, where did you get it done - Mstyle?? I've seen it somewhere before and thought about it but i'm 21 in 2 months, so insurance on a 335i could be just about bearable, so hopefully i'll upgrade.

You got any other plans? Great looking car, put a pic up of it side on with your summer alloys on? Don't want to get it re-mapped?

I dont find the lack of a V8 a problem in these situations.

You guys are very spoiled getting 09 plated E92 coupes for your 18th birthday, even if they only have a 2.0 engines!. My daughter got an £800 Ford Ka for her 18th birthday last year.. Back in the 1980's I got a set of alloy wheels for my 3.0 capri for my 18th .lol.

I picked up my at the time 18 month old 320d with my own money a couple of months after turning 22, and before that had a peugeot 206 which I bought with my own money when I was 17 (It also was less than 2 years old when I bought it). First car was 6k second car 15

...As we seem to be having a pissing contest here

I got a VW Beetle 1303. 1974 and 600 quid IIRC. And you had to lift your feet off the floor if you went through a puddle because the water came through the heating(!) vents. Loved it though

haha u guys give me jokes....um yeh about that castrol car finder thing i must admit i used to check cars on the mycarcheck app on iphone when i used to have one LOL...and about being at the lights etc to be honest i dont bother with that stuff knowing my insurance is a lot im not stupid enough to do something like that besides my car is built for looks/pleasure and obviously not racing...if i had a 335i then that would be a different story...this has been my first car i got it back in 2009 from the showroom like i chose what i wanted in it etc to be honest i was happy with a vauxhall astra 3 door but my dad said to me "why are you wasting your time lets go mercedes and bmw" i was like "OK THEN" LOL and my dad wanted me to get a 1 series convertible but i said to him if im going to get a bmw it has to be a 3 series because ever since i was young i always wanted an m3 but obviously i cant but one day hopefully i will get one

what i have planned next is performance spoiler, ac schnitzer roof spoiler, tint the lights and i want a hamann lip for the front but i have a feeling its going to scrape my driveway etc so i might just have to forget about that and i might get a vorsteiner v-35 hood in carbon but again may be abit too much hassle etc, im going to get carbon fiber mirror covers and wrap the inside in carbon fiber too and get 15mm spacers for the back hopefully all in the next 2 months etc

oh and there's no point getting it remapped because its only a 320 so performance wise i just dont see the point...initially i got the exhausts done from mstyle but had a few problems with them like alignment etc and to be honest they were'nt exactly specialists on exhausts like they didnt tell me that stainless steel tends to move slightly when hot and goes back when its cool etc which an exhaust specialist told me so i had issues with alignment and had to go back to them about 4 times and the exhaust cost me £600 which i dont think is worth it considering its worth about £300 as an exhaust specialist told me and i paid the specialist £200 on top to re allign everything and provide a different back box and when i took it to an exhaust specialist he actually told me that the backbox they supplied is actually silenced and not a free-flowing box hence why i have to admit i wasnt happy with the sound or product supplied by mstyle so i got that specialist to re-do it and supply a performance backbox and now i must admit once its heated up it sounds like a stock m3 when they cruise around (obviously not when its racing lol i wish)

Have to admit my alloys are dirty in this pic lol:

This is the amount of space i have pulling into my driveway as i explained i guess its no splitter/lip for me then

This pic has my old numberplate before i changed it!

And this last pic was from last winter with my winter alloys on and those are my RD LED 7300K angel lights and my GP Thunder 8500K fog lights:

I think I got a skateboard for my 18th and a small amount of cash which I no doubt pissed up the wall, but hey! That's what being young is all about.

MEGA, you don't qualify for this pissing contest. You bought both your cars with your own hard earned.

I agree.. Your car looks stunning.. Doesnt need any more add-on's.. Just look at some of the awful chaved-up e36/46 examples out there.. I have even seen them fitted with 'Lexus' rear lights

Unfortunately as our e9x cars get older, and cheaper they will also fall into Chav ownership

Nice car,

not a fan of quads or dark rims I'm afraid. Also the plate is cool but makes your car look two years older than it is.

How is the insurance man coping with all the mods?!

^ Ignorance, I'm sure. More likely that he's been left in the dark than is going "la la la la la I am not listening" with his fingers in his ears though! Hehehe.

I do like the car, although I don't agree with the HID fogs, think that is a bit silly. But that's the only thing I really don't like!
