What do you think so far, and what phone are you coming from?
I'm on the fence between the Evo and sticking with another BB. Haven't had an issue with my current BB in 2.5 years; but after playing with the Evo the BB OS looks so dated.

I looooooove it, coming from a Samsung Instinct.
If/when the battery life gets better it'll be perfect. I didn't want to leave Sprint, I've always liked them, never had a single problem (or dropped call)...very happy they came out with the Evo. I was thinking of dropping Sprint to get a better phone (was thinking about Verizon), now I'll be sticking around for a while. ![]() It's not THAT bad lol... |

what people tend to forget is the size of the screen drastically decreases the battery life.... it's not that bad considering the size of the screen.

+1. I like my BB but I wouldn't mind trying that phone out.

the evo is a beast i played with it in the store but could never see myself walking around with that big of a phone in my pockets. I hope this doesn't become a new trend of cells phone companies battling it out for the biggest screen...

I know the two negatives from every review are battery life and the size; but I don't think it's too big at all. It's maybe .25" taller then my BB 8830, but the same width and actually just a bit thinner. IMO it's a good size. I was looking at the BB Curve, and to me it felt too small.

After having an Evo for like 2 weeks, every other phone seems TINY to me. Haven't had any problems with it fitting in my pocket, but I never wear dress pants so I dunno about that...
It's just like any other phone, once you get used to it everything else seems awkward. When I got my first full touch screen phone (one of the first out, for Sprint anyway...) it took awhile to get used to. |
