ok so ive been looking all over the place and i cant find any steering company that has a ACTIVE STEERING rack and pinion for my 2007 335i

if anyone knows a place or shop that can may have one plz let me know

i bought the car from a salvage action one of the parts that was broken :/

I just had to get a rack for my car (328xi). The xi one's are really hard to find (but it doesn't appear you have xi). First, try rem steering. It would've been $415 shipped for a rebuilt (including core charge!) but they didn't have in stock. I just looked yours up and it looks about $420 shipped including core with lifetime warranty, if they have it in stock. I ordered mine and paid and they told me just over a week later that they couldn't find a core to rebuild. https://www.remsteering.com/store/pc...=10&submit.y=7

Next, there is a vendor on ebay (carsteering, IIRC) that sells refurb units as well. If he has one, great. If you choose to buy from him, make sure to use "bing cashback" on ebay to get 8% back in your cashback account. Save you a little that way. Next, there was another vendor in NY (can't recall who now) that was selling refurb racks as well for about $650 for my car. Unfortunately, no one could get a 328xi core, so I had to get a used rack (which I'll get refurb'd).

i actelly bought one from rem steering but they sent me the wrong one with no active steering they said it was data on their computer wrong saying it did have active steering

and i will check the guy out in ebay thank u!

I don't know how you'd know if it has Active Steering or not. Maybe ask for VIN and look it up?
