E92 LCI standard folding auto dimming mirrors

Hey,

So looking at the e92 330d Msport, got the new LCI brochure through today, was flicking through and saw, page 50 bottom left 430 Exterior mirrors - folding, automatically dimming, it the goes on to say (standard on 330i/d SE, 335i/d and six cylinder M Sport models).

Yet when you look at BMW's April price list for the e92 online it has it as a £305 optional extra.

Anyone know whats going on here?

Also, Comfort Access is missing from the configurator for E92 and E93 but not saloon and Touring. Any ideas?

i've paid for it as an option on mine - option 430

Im thinking its just a mistake in the brochure as when you look at the spec level at the back it doesnt say that you get it as standard on the six cylinder models.

it does say on the brochure that "Brochure specs relate to German market. Regional differences may apply. Consult your dealer." Or words to that effect. But the brochures are always full of typos and spec errors. There's another error re the 313M tyre sizes. The sizes quoted on the MSport page are wrong....

Hi all,

Is there any chance anyone has a pdf of the e93 LCI brochure? I would settle for the e92 LCI! I'm desperate as I have one on order!

Think the LCI brochure is only available in hard copy atm, go down to ur local BMW garage, they should have one, or order one to be sent to ur house from the BMW website.

Just got home and reading the brochure again it's the automatic dipping function being referred to as standard on 330i/d and 335i/d (ie when you put it in reverse the NS mirror dips to aid parking)

Not particularly clear or well worded, granted.

Option 430 is clearly marked as just that, an option.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I'm in Australia and our LCIs have been delayed. I've ordered one (E93 LCI) and just been told delivery date has blown out from May to July (!). I'm very keen to get a soft copy of the brochure as I doubt one will be available in Australia for a while.

There are two optionals 313 and 430.
Option 313 is exterior mirrors electrically folding, they also automatically dip.
Option 430 is exterior mirrors electrically folding and automatically dimming (and rear view mirror), they also automatically dip.

In both you also get key-dependent-memory for the position of the exterior mirrors

The 330i/d SE, 335i/d SE and 6 cylinder M Sport models will already have the automatically dipping functions included in these options.

i got the electric mirrors on me e92 and was really peed off that i can only do this by the button on the the door. my e46 you could do this with the key fob why why why was this not continued

Agree - would be nice to have it sync'd with the remote lock/ unlock!
Not seen a mod for this anywhere either?!

Anneka's right - nice having the mirrors linked to the ke - saves time after the wife's driven it....when she's allowed anyway :-)
