Will my E90 mats fit in my E92

If yes then I will be saving $105 since my mats are only 3 months old! Anyone know?

I guess you have to scrimp and save given the loss you'll take on the 330

Yes, both the E90 summer and winter (rubber) mats are interchangeable with the E92. Also, the E90 rubber trunk tray fits pefectly into the E92 trunk.
In addition, the rear storage module that replaces the ski bag fits into the the E92 back seat.

Floor Mats

I purchased the e90 rubber mats for my 335i, which the dealer claimed would fit. The drivers side mounting holes do not line up with the e90 mats. Dealer said I could exchange, 335i mats are coming later this month.

Just got my mats today, which the dealer shipped to me for free, the box said e90. The mats for the back seat do not fit perfectly, they are about an half inch too big, and do not look good b/c they come up on that seat belt post thing. The front passenger mat is perfect. The drivers mat does not fit! The mat comes up with the clutch, i am using my e46 mats right now, and i would say they are a better fit than the e90 mats.
Are they going to make ones for the e92? because this does not work.

You must have a different type of E90 mat in the US market. On Canadian E90s, there are circular velcro patches on the fixed carpet that hold matching velcro pads under the rubber mats. As I stated earlier, the E90 rubber mats sold in Canada fit perfectly in the E92.

Mine are metal hooks, that are secured to the floor below. The hooks go right into the 2 holes for the mats.

Haha, that's pretty funny. I knew BMW was bad about accessories, but no mats? Hilarity.

Each set of mats come with their own mat-specific plastic anchors which you can change out by screwing them into the floor carpeting: round plastic anchors with velcro for carpet mats and round plastic anchors with protruding hooks for rubber mats.

Alright, i went to BMW of Nashville today to compare the e90 mats my dealer sent me (from St. Louis) to the e92 mats, i was in fact correct. The parts guy was very happy that i showed him the difference, he had been putting the e90 mats in cars thinking they were exactly the same. If your car is an automatic dont worry about it as long as you dont mind the rears not being perfect. If it is a manual you are going to have to get the e92 mats.
Also, there is a national back order on the black mats for the e92.

So what is the part number for the correct E92 winter mats then? I just called the dealer and they are telling me that they see the same part number for the E90 & E92 fronts? Can you please calrify. Thanks.

The are 100% for sure different, your dealer is wrong. I will look it up and post it later. Plaza BMW and BMW of Nashville both confirmed that they are different. Plaza exchanged the e90 for the e92 mats for me for free.
