Montego Blue / Jade Grey
According to the UK price list brochure and the big UK brochure this combination isn't actually a recommended option In the price list book they shown 'Recommended' and 'Perfect match' options but this combo is neither.
Does this mean I can't have it (the online configurator lets me choose these) or will Montego blue look odd somehow with the jade grey leather and black carpets ?? I want to get away from black leather for a change, but don't want cream beige or grey as the carpets are just a bit too light in my opinion. Jade seemed the perfect choice as it comes with the black carpets. Can anyone comment on this? |

I have Jade Grey with TiAg on order, also not recomended, but if you look at the E90 spec, everything is recomended with silver, including Lemon. Montego Blue would have been my second choice, and I think it would also have looked great with Jade.
Or maybe I just have bad taste. Like you I wanted a break from Black and Jade seemed the best option of lighter seats but more practical black carpets.

Thats good to know... at least I know its possible to order it. I don't really understand all that recommended, perfect choice stuff... surely its a matter of personal taste!
TiAg would probably be my second colour choice... you must post plenty pics of the interior when you get the car. Is it def the piano trim you are going for, or the black gloss, which I think is the default when you add the Dakota leather? |

I got Space Grey and Jade Grey and that's not recommended either! Dealer tried to make me feel better by saying that the Germans have some "unusual" views on what goes. Haven't seen my car properly yet (just off the transporter) but it looks fine first impression. I wanted a light interior so the choice was limited. OK grey on grey is a bit boring but it's not a bad combo as such. If you like it, go for it! What's the worst that can happen? You have a unique car!

Thanks for the reassurances on this
I definitely want a light interior and think the light grey leather will be a good contrast with the dark carpets and trim. |
