f**ing clunking sounds

hi guys i have 08 335i sedan i lowered the car with H&R race springs on stock struts..when i turn the steering wheel it makes a clunking noise..some of my friends say the spring isnt sitting good(installed springs 1 year ago)and some of my friends say that my struts are gone...any help will be great..thanks

Its most likely your sway bar end links... Have you made sure they are tight? They may have loosened up over time...

sum people told me its the strut mount...or top mount

Could be either anti-roll bar (sway) endlinks or the mounts. Just tighten the endlinks and test. If you still have an issue, the mounts would be next. Find which corner is making the noise by riding in the trunk or replace as a pair.

This happened to me. It was my end links. Torqued them down and the clunk was gone.

also could be a loose lower or upper control arm too.. I was hearing a clunking sound when turning at low speeds and brought it back to my friends garage and they looked and it and said it was a loose lower control arm.

Just installed H&R sport springs on factory sport struts clunking noise!!

I just got new H&R sport springs installed on my 2007 e90 with stock sport struts and every time i go over a little bump there is a loud clunking noise froming from the left front wheel. Not sure if my right side makes the clunking noise also but has anyone faced this problem?
