H&r race on stock shocks
So i have a 3 year lease and i got h&r race springs and im going to install them soon. Im just wondering how screwed am i going to be with its compatibility with the stock shocks. Do any of you guys have any input. (i.e: how long shocks will last, how much it is to replace stock shocks). Anyone have any experience with this?

You mean H&R race springs. Which actually give you less of a drop then the sport springs. If your keeping your stock shocks then they will eventually go bad. Depends on your driving. Could last 6 months, could last a couple years. Better off just going for the coilover package now and having no problems for 3 years then return it with the stock setup without any issues.

I used Eibach on stock shocks. They are doing the job just fine, controlled ride and no rebound (unlike my E46).
You'll have to get the car aligned most likely at the dealer. 150$ or so. |

It really depends on how hard you drive the car but honestly, since it's a lease, you will be okay. I feel terrible for advising you that way as the shocks will need to be replaced by the dealer after the lease is turned over or shortly thereafter but you should be fine running those springs for the duration of the lease.
