What are these on my LCI? And how do I get rid of?

What do you call these things on the front of my e90 LCI? I want to get rid of them or at least get black ones.
Anyone know what my options are? I emailed Tischer but didn't hear back.

I went to North Scottsdale and picked up a pair of finishing rods from the 328i. As stated above, just snap in. I used a small jewel flat head for some leverage to pull the old ones out.

Funny I think I'll do that just for fun since I'm bored.
Then I'll order the finishing rods from the 328 (thanks everyone else )

If I were to remove mine, what's the mesh look like behind it? I was considering just taking the center piece out and leaving the right/left pieces in place.

Damn, that LCI front end looks so much better than pre-LCI. Still hate the LCI side view mirrors, though.

yea, just spray paint it yourself and save $10.

FYI - the LCI E90 looks so much better. Can't wait to see the LCI E92.

Kind of a pain to remove the old ones, but just use a little bit of muscle and they'll come out.

Whoops I already ordered the black ones off the 328, I hope they fit the LCI, if not I guess I'll try to return them and get this set, thanks for the link!

Dude, I don't even think you need to buy the rods at all! I'm almost certain no one would bother checking if your finishing rods are wrapped in electric tape!

Use Black Duct tape, you should be able to find one for a few quid at Target.
