ZF8HP50 upgrade
Hello everyone,
Just done my dream and done the top mount kit on my M240i. As expected the gearbox not gonna last for long therefore the car couldn’t be pushed to the limits on the dyno. What gearbox upgrades are people doing now days? Heard how easy is a HP70 swap but also heard they’re not as aggressive,firm, crisp as hp50 (xhp stg3) Is there any other straight swaps? Is just get the hp50 builded? Tia! |

What known issues are there with this gearbox? and what sort of power you running at the wheels to be getting problems with the ZF box? Thanks,
