Talking ARM Motorsports M240i DUAL EXIT RACE EXHAUST **NEW PRODUCT**

The ARM Motorsports M240i Dual Exit Race Exhaust is the ultimate exhaust upgrade for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance, weight reduction, and an aggressive exhaust note. Designed to complement the ARM M240i Midpipe, this axle-back exhaust system extends the 3.25” midpipe to the rear of your BMW, providing a dual-exit design for a striking motorsport aesthetic.

Engineered for those who demand the loudest and lightest exhaust system, the ARM M240i Dual Exit Exhaust eliminates all mufflers and resonators, transforming your B58-powered BMW into a raw, high-performance machine. The straight-pipe design delivers unrestricted airflow, allowing for enhanced throttle response and a deep, aggressive exhaust tone.

Key Features:

Aggressive Exhaust Note – Fully straight-piped for an unmistakable motorsport-inspired sound.
Significant Weight Reduction – Saves over 20 lbs compared to the stock exhaust.
High-Performance Design – Maximizes exhaust flow for improved performance.
Premium Construction – Made from durable T304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing.
OEM Compatibility – Fits OEM and OEM-style aftermarket diffusers.
Effortless Installation – No cutting or trimming required; installs in approximately 45 minutes using basic tools.
Complete Kit – Includes dual exhaust tips and clamps for a secure and seamless fit.
Precision Engineering and Premium Construction

The ARM M240i Dual Exit Exhaust is crafted from high-quality T304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a premium finish. The mandrel-bent tubing maintains optimal exhaust flow, preventing restrictions and maximizing performance. This axle-back section integrates seamlessly with the ARM M240i Midpipe, connecting to the factory exhaust hangers on both the driver and passenger sides for a clean and precise fit.

Hey Mike, I appreciate you & Extreme Powerhouse as I have ordered from XPH in the past with no problems whatsoever. I just want to warn everyone else about this particular exhaust from ARM Motorsports...

I tried posting a review on their website but of course they won't publish it. So here it is below

To be honest my overall experience was extremely negative and this makes me want to avoid ARM Motorsports altogether. I reached out to customer support to confirm that this 240TRK-D M240i DUAL EXIT RACE EXHAUST would be compatible with my current setup and after being told it was a "direct fit" from the sales manager Ryan - I went ahead and placed my order. I always ensure to properly research before ordering any parts as to avoid potential problems & boy-oh-boy there were many problems to come from this exhaust. Everything arrived as expected but there were several issues during the install. First of all the exhaust hangers do not line up whatsoever so chances are you will have to absolutely bend the ever living life out of the metal tabs so you can gain enough clearance. The tips that ARM uses are way too oversized and since you're dealing with clearance issues to begin with go ahead and kiss your OEM diffuser goodbye because the exhaust clearance & tips will not only mangle your outlet holes but it will melt your diffuser because there's no adjustability to swivel these down. Also your tips will be scratched, dented, and f*cked beyond repair. Ryan suggested I "polish" (lol) to make them look nice again but we all know that was just some bs to avoid assuming any sort of accountability for this p.o.s. exhaust.

I want to point out that I had a few different shops take a look at this and they all said the same thing - fitment is @ss and that's about as good as it's going to get. Unfortunately, the exhaust clamps are also garbage and you might have issues with the ARM clamps that are provided in the kit. Go ahead and save your OEM clamps just in case you need to re-purpose those onto this. I have a second m240i but I will NOT be installing anything ARM Motorsports on that vehicle. You live and learn...

Tbh, I've had better luck and customer service with cheap Megan exhaust systems from eBay... avoid this like the plague because you will basically be told "tough sh*t" from Ryan.

I hate to comment in these things when it involves one of the good vendors posting etc..

One question i had, was this actually for the 240/340 etc or is it a 235/335 etc exhaust you have to modify to make work?

I appreciate that, but a good vendor needs to know if a product they’re offering has issues so it can be addressed and future problems with other customers can be avoided. So, thank you and OP for posting.

Some customers understand that specific issues aren’t the vendor’s fault, but others get upset, blame the vendor, and leave bad reviews. We want to avoid being caught in the middle when possible, whether that means resolving the issue or stopping this product sales altogether.

If you have not yet found an answer to your question, please email support@x-ph.com and we'll get you the answer

I just want to add onto this and say I had a very similar experience with ARM/Ryan. I remember reading this post when debating on buying this exhaust for my f22 m240i and decided to try the single exit and midpipe from ARM anyways. Big mistake. The single exit hanger is not in the right place and the only way to get it on means you have to pull the midpipe way over so it hits multiple spots under the car causing rattles. The single exit was also touching my bumper because of this terrible fitment.

Same issues with the clamps as well. I had an exhaust leak at every joint down the exhaust from the downpipe to the single exit. Ryan recommended exhaust cement for the leaks and gave me the run around for an entire month when trying to make this exhaust work. I ended up putting in close to 8 hours over the course of the month with constantly messing with the exhaust, taking it on and off to try different things, but ended up with the same issues every time. Ryan kept telling me it will work with "trail and error" even though their website claims perfect fitment and a 45 minute install with basic tools. Ryan eventually said he could help me get a replacement, but when I tried to move forward with this, he continued to beat around the bush and tell me a replacement will "fit similar". I ended up just giving up and putting my OEM exhaust back on.

It's crazy they have an in-house m240i to test their products on, but they still can't make them work. Their website also claims the product comes with a lifetime warranty that entitles you to a replacement unit, but they clearly do not back their products and will do anything to not have to replace it.

I have read many posts on people melting their bumpers because of this fitment and how trash their clamps are so I know we aren't the only ones. I just wanted to put this out there so people can avoid ARM and not have to deal with any of this.

Not sure why you're boot licking. The least they can do is have some quality control or honor their lifetime warranty for their products that don't work as they say. You can't claim "perfect fitment" and "high quality performance-grade exhaust clamps" when that's not true.
