SPORT MODE 228ix
Good Morning (atleast here in VA, USA);
When I change to SPORT, it doesn't give any suspension Individualities, but assumes it tightens up; The real question is, what does it do for the Engine and Transmission (i can change them individually) ? When I'm in Sport, I can still joggle the shifter left and it downshifts. Also notice the ECO START shuts off. Thanks ! |

Assuming your car has adaptive dampers.
I think this chart will explain what you are asking... I realize yours is the F44 gran coupe but the programming is likely the same. |

Think I found the answer? I don't read where the engine performance changes, except from being in a gear lower. Guessing the Trans shifting is somewhere between Comfort and putting in Manual (sport) mode.
Not sure if i have the DDC (where suspension adapts); probably need to get a buildsheet by VIN. Also, the faux exhaust sound (which i find odd) bounces to SPORT. Personally, I'm going to unplug the valve when open OR just unplug and push the vane open inside the pipe. Then run via 'balanced'. |
