Its really not when you start trying to make real power. When you break down the costs, going CNC intake manifold with PI is the better route. Our fuel systems are limited when you start getting into the higher numbers. You’re going to need lift kits and that still doesn’t guarantee you won’t have fuel pressure dropping etc

I know of a guy making 700whp on this forum with a N55 on DI alone. Everyone with Port has trouble tuning it and it cost more. It's janky.

Will be introducing PI soon to this turbo build. Have had the Turbo for a year now on 23 psi with no issues. Gunna push the kit further with the PI since no one has done so yet(that I’ve seen). I’ve only been on pump gas, but will be introducing E to the car this weekend.

If it blows, Speedtech is next.
I'm running e60-e70, hits 22psi then goes down to 17psi, 15 degrees of timing. Running Stg 3 lpfp, Stg 2 hpfp, Stg 1 injectors, I think I have the hpfp maxed out though.

There’s also a guy on here making that much with PI too. From what I see everyone who has issues with PI isn’t using the correct controllers or using the spacer with stock manifold. Upgraded manifold with injectors angled at the ports from what I’ve seen works 100% of the time. And I don’t see how it costs more. DI Injectors are almost a thousand alone. That’s not even including Stg 2 ones that’s 1500. Hpfp + lift kit 2500

That’s already double the cost of PI.

get a liftkit instead of Port injection…Your setup should/will support 800ish then
