Trunk alignment (window side)
Hi all, sorry if wrong area, this one didn't seem to fit in the exterior mod sub forum.
I was wondering if there was a way to align the trunk on the hinge side? I know the back side is tweaked with those 2 twistable pads. But on the side where the trunk lid meets the back window, it seems to be sitting a 1/4 inch lower than the QPs of the car. Is there something I can tweak to raise it up? Or is this just one of those little alignment quirks on the platform like the hood-front bumper gap Picture of hinge mechanism for reference

Only thing I can think of is loosening the hinge and moving it. Probably not what you wanted to hear but that’s what comes to mind. Maybe there’s another way though?
Option 2 is just weld the trunk lid permanently open for some F1-esque downforce . That way at least you won’t notice the gap.
