Rear mats
Just picked up a 2021 M240i. Got home and realized there were no rear mats.
Contacted the dealer and was told it does not come with rear mats. They said even the M2 does not come with them. I found it hard to believe why it would not come with rear mats. Can anyone who recently got a new 2 series confirm this? |

Congrats to you as well. I actually called BMW and they told me the m240i does not come with the rear mats. The rear mats are extra. Oh well.....

Mine did not come with rear mats either. None of the 2021s do. They also no longer have an Aux input either. Kind of sucks to be on the end of the production run. But then this also may be the last 2 series convertible so I am glad for that.
I did buy the full set of BMW all weather mats for under $100. They fit really nice and I think I like them better than the Weather Tech I had in my E46. You know you get 15% off accessories when you buy a new car, right? |

I simply wrote a note to my sales guy about how ridiculous a $50k+ car comes without rear mats. Couple hours later he told me he will get the rear mats and a set of all weather mats for me free of charge. I thanked him and I suppose it was the right thing for him to do for customer service. |

Same here, my 2021 had no rear mats. I bought them online and also got the oem rubber mats for winter.

Yeah, my rear seat gets very little use. The only person ever willing to sit back there is me.
I bought a set of winter mats from WeatherTech and they didn't even sell a set for the rear, so the standard mats sit there all year, but pretty much untouched for going on six years. |

Probably no rear passengers, but I like to have them for wet/dirty shoes, etc. |
