BMW m235i convertible f23 exhaust options

Hello all, I am looking to buy an aftermarket exhaust for my m235i convertible. I was about to pull the trigger on the awe exhaust, however on the site they said it will not fit the convertible. I gave them a call and they said it will not fit due to the chassis reinforcement under the car for the convertible model. I am wondering if anyone else has a convertible and share their experiences with this. Are there any alternatives for an exhaust that will fir the f23 series.

From what I recall, the BMW M Performance Exhaust will work.

EDIT
I have questions about aftermarket exhausts fitting my 228i m sport convertible, so I kind of know what you're going through. I know that the MPE will fit with the f22 228i as long as it has the M-Sport pkg, but will it work with the 228i f23 M-Sport pkg?

Why not MPE? It fits, it sounds great, it's a BMW part. What's not to like? That said, while I have an MPE on my M235i convertible, it's mostly because it was spec'd that way when I bought it off the showroom floor. I probably wouldn't have ordered my car with it at the time, but I do appreciate it. If I were ordering a new BMW now, I'd definitely spend the extra $$ to get the 6 cylinder (B58) motor, but I'm not sure I'd spend $2K on an MPE.

I’m a Fabspeed person. I have their hi-flow cat, midpipe and muffler delete. I had it installed at their shop in PA and could not be happier with the sound.

I bought the car used with the stock exhaust. It is my first car and didn't want to pay for the MPE. For the price of the MPE there are many other options and was searching around for the best sounds. How loud is the MPE? All the videos online make it seem not as loud as other exhaust i.e. AWE.

I'm running VRSF muffler delete exhaust on mine. No issues.
