Turbo Blow Off
I am looking at a 2016 m235i with a manual transmission. When I drove the car I noticed that turbo blow off sound quite a bit, almost every time I let off the throttle. When I drove an m235i with the auto I didn't notice this really at all. Is that normal?
Sorry if this is a dumb question - I've only had NA motors previously. |

The auto(steptronic) transmission has the exact same Diverter valve that the manual does, I will note that the AUTO trans has a vaccum line routed to the intake that may make the sound less audible. FWIW I can hear my blow off quite well even when my intake was stock.
