BMW M2 Competition Mirrors on M2
Hi there,
I am from Germany so please excuse my not so perfect english I recently bought a set of original BMW M2C Mirrors on the web. When they arrived the condition was perfect, almost like new, so I startet to fit them to my BMW M2 LCI. The installation is easy and the mirrors worked well, indicator and adjustment.. but when i tried to adjust them to my drivers position they absolutely didn't showed me what I wanted to see while driving. So it turned the set of M2C mirrors I bought are from a car with right-hand drive. The colours of the mirrors are white. Since I have no more use to them I would resell them. So if anyone is interested in fitting original M2C mirrors on a standard M2 for a reasonable price, please let me know. The mirrors make the car look so much better than the standard 2 series mirrors. Have a look: Last edited by H20neun; 03-19-2019 at 09:16 AM.. |

I’m not sure about the options, in UK folding mirrors are an option and also come as part of the comfort pack. Would you mind including a close up pic of the mirror from the right hand side, like you have the left one? |

Thanks for the photos. You say when they arrived they were almost like new. Can you explain if there is any damage or signs of wear?
I take it as they are original that they are the genuine BMW OEM parts too? Do you have packaging and/or part numbers? |

yes they are original BMW parts, but to prove that and get to the parts number I would have to take off the mirror caps |

Hi guys, small update:
today I removed the mirror glas of the m2c mirrors, pictures below, both parts, the mirror and the glas have BMW logos in the plastic so they are 100% original oem parts also they are heated and dimmed for those who have been in doubt |

Remember 2 series dimmed mirrors are only dimmed on driver's side (right side in UK).
BMW cost cutting.... 2nd image in post 9 shows dim zone edge on RHS mirror so seems correct for UK. |

I dont know how this is handled in UK but I guess its the same like in Germany if you buy things on the internet. I sell those mirrors private, so I can not give you any warranty or take them back. This should be the same if you buy from a private person on ebay I think. I did a lot of pictures to try to show the condition of the mirrors. Thats how they look and all functions are working fine, thats all I can tell, I also bought them used on the web, if they wouldn't be from a right hand car I would use them myself. If you want a guarantee you have to buy them from your BMW dealer. In regards of the payment we can do paypal. I could ship them tomorrow, after Tuesday I'm off for vacation. They will be packed very carefully, I do have a shipping department, so they will arrive safe. best regards Philipp |
