Featured on BIMMERPOST.com BMW 2 Series Coupe, BMW 2 Series Convertible, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo: fresh touches enhance sportiness and elegance. Among the refreshing flourishes enriching the visual sportiness and elegance of the BMW 2 Series Coupe and BMW 2 Series Convertible are darkened rear lights, which will become part of standard specification in March 2019. The high-performance BMW M2 Competition will likewise come with darkened rear lights as standard. BMW 2 Series Coupe and BMW 2 Series Convertible customers ordering their car in Sport Line specification will find additional bi-colour 17- and 18-inch light-alloy wheels on the options list. 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in twin-spoke design, painted in matte Cerium Grey and with mixed-size tyres, will be offered as a new option for the BMW M240i Coupe, BMW M240i xDrive Coupe, BMW M240i Convertible and BMW M240i xDrive Convertible. The palette of exterior paint finishes for the particularly sporty six-cylinder BMW 2 Series models now also includes the new Long Beach Blue metallic variant, while the optional interior trim strips in smooth matte Carbon Fibre heighten the cabin's sporting allure. All Sport Line model and M Sport model variants of the BMW 2 Series Coupe and BMW 2 Series Convertible come with a black kidney grille surround. And new to the options list for the interior is Dakota leather trim with exclusive stitching. Dark rear lights will also be included in the standard specification for the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo from March 2019. Cars with the optional Adaptive LED Headlights also have black inserts for the headlight units, which the M Sport model will complement with a BMW kidney grille, exhaust tailpipe embellishers and exterior mirror caps (optional) in High-gloss Black. Added to which, Jet Black 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in star-spoke design and 19-inch M light-alloy wheels in twin-spoke design with Jet Black polished finish and mixed-size tyres are available for M Sport models as a new and exclusive option. In addition, the exterior colour shade Mineral White metallic can be specified for M Sport cars. https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/globa...or-spring-2019 |

I had hoped the 2020 M240i might get the Z4's HP bump to perk up end-of-generation sales.

I wonder how any of these changes impact my order, currently the car is "scheduled for production"

I DO have to wonder tho if the Supra got the same B58B30M0 that the M240i has instead of the newer B58B30O1 that the Z4 is getting. I mean, it appears to have all the older radio / climate control / infotainment screen out of the older 2 series parts bin so perhaps it got the older engine as well? |

These changes are for MY2020. Is your car MY2019 or MY2020?

Did I read right that LBB can be ordered on a regular 2 series now? Kind of a bummer for M2 owners.

Knowing BMW they'll probably remove a color from the limited M2c options just to stick it to 'em one last time. Which one you might ask? Not the least popular color, that would be too obvious. Certainly not their best selling color. They'll go for something in the middle, you know, to symbolize a middle finger.

So...you can't get all the colours that are available on the 2er for the M2...but now you can get the the launch M2 colour on the regular 2er. Well don't I feel special...

Anyone whining about sharing with other people who will enjoy a new blue on their car of choice, please step away from the keyboard. I want to hear from your parents!

I wouldn’t be surprised if the M2C gets a couple new colors for the MY20 in March, especially since LBB will now be available on the 2 series. They are obviously trying to increase 2 series sales, which weren’t very good in 2018.The MY20 ordering guide should be released in the next few weeks,so we will find out very soon,if the M2C gets any new colors.

Easy enough to buy from overseas like I did on my 1er. That being said I've been waiting for a black line for my M2. Can't wait!
