sorry for the long topic. i searched for poor and bad fit lip but i didn't find anything of relevance. the lip is about 1/4 short on the sides. how much do you think it would cost to have that fixed and painted?
i only ask bc the lip is practically free but idk if i want to deal with the headache of fitment issues. and if it ends up being close to JleviSW's replica aero lip i'll just pick that up instead.

If it's a 1/4" short on both sides, they'll have to cut it and elongate it. The price of fabrication for that is probably going to be close to the price of a normal OEM lip.

Since the lip was practically free.. why not spend the money you would have otherwise spent to get it molded HAWT |

Since its practically free, why not spend the extra cash and get them to fix the fitment....
Are you leasing? If so, then I recommend that you don't mold it on... |

not leasing the car so i'll be owning it. i'm just kinda scared of molding it onto the bumper. it'd cost quite a bit to do that too wouldn't it. if i understand correctly they'd strip the paint off the bumper then mold it flush then paint.... that seems like some serious $$$$$

just dont get a vorsteiner there fitment sucks. just do oem lip and be done. the fitment is decided on how you install it.

thanks for all the input guys. i decided not to get the lip bc it seemed like it'd be too much of a hassle. i'll just have to wait before i upgrade my ride for a while =\

Originally i got a front lip from jlevi which had the same problem you are talking about. it was the replica one. after i complained Jlevi took it back and exchanged for the oem one. imo just order a new one beause if its the one im thinking not only are the sides shorter but the front doesnt connect all the way and you will have a gap all the way around so the only way to attach it would be with double stick tape and you will wind up seeing that tape all the time. dont waste you time....just get a new one.
