Hello, Im new here.

For one month ago i tried to fix my bimmer, because the crankshaft pulley Was worn out, there Was a crack in it.

I changed

Pulley
Tensioner
Idle pulleys
Crankshaft pulley
Belt
Everything new.

I tried several belts.

6pk x 2065
6pk x 2063
6pk x 2060

Now Im standing with a belt that vibrates like hell, from alternator to crankshaft pulley.

My alternator dosent have a clutch? So does it mean my pulley on alternator is worn out? It really shiny

PLEASY I REALLY NEED HELP HERE

Your alternator pulley should be a one way clutch
Which reduces belt vibrations

I have checken my alternator there are No sign of a clutch on the pulley, Also When i checking on a brand new on from eBay Or a shop, they are not build with a clutch.

Its really Strange Can i retrofit it?

What brand harmonic balancer (crankshaft pulley) did you get?

Contact Andrew from tunemyeuro , he will help with clutched alternator pulley

I bought a oem part from ATP, in germany, they look like the same not sure but i Fits a 335d m57 engine

I haven't addressed my harmonic balancer yet so I can't really help you. If you were to post this in the diesel section or just narrow your searches to that forum, however, you would get lots of help. I can tell you that on our cars, the stock alternator pulley is not clutched. When the fluidamper pulley finally came out, they had to convert to a clutched pulley due to vibration issues.
